Hello! I am a Life Coach with a focus on Grief, End of Life, and other Transitions. I’m based in the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains of central Virginia yet support individuals worldwide facing loss who want to mourn well and use their grief as a catalyst to live better, fuller days.

On every level, my heart sets the pace of my life. It’s led me all over. It has allowed me to love others, this world, and stretch my perceived limits in many ways: from earning a BFA to caregiving for adults with intellectual disabilities, to farming, horticulture and metalsmithing, and to the extreme privilege of being with those at the end of life.

In 2006, I had my first experience caregiving for someone on Hospice and became intimately aware of the emotional journey it involves. In 2015, I fulfilled my highest honor: caring for my mother in the last week of her life. Since then, I’ve been humbled to tend to other residents on Hospice in the lifesharing community that led me to caregiving, and Virginia.

These are gifts that continually unwrap themselves, as I acknowledge the vast spectrum of pain and joy that have shaped my days, including my own cancer scare when I was 37. I actively alchemize all of my life experiences, not for just my benefit but for all those I serve through my life’s work. Through the physical and metaphorical acts of Creating, Loving, Designing, Nurturing, Pruning, Weeding, Beautifying: Everything that I have done in life has brought me to coaching.

I wouldn’t be perpetually striving to serve those navigating the many turns, weights, and colors of Grief, or reach a new normal, without having walked the unknown steps myself. Especially through the death of my mother, I have realized the truest depths of Love and growth, that bittersweetly only Grief can cast light upon. Life *is* possible after profound loss– I am living proof. And you don’t have to go through it alone.

Whether you would like to achieve a goal, mourn a loss, or face a trying time, coaching is like a warm hug. You can expect a space of safety to share, the gift of presence to be heard, and the support to move forward, lovingly and with rich awareness of your precious, radiant life.
